By ordering from YATU'S BAKERY (YB) you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
If customers need to make a cancellation for an order made from 1st March 2020 that is due to Government changes to the number of gatherings allowed, Yatu's Bakery will try to postpone your order for another date. This must be agreed in writing by the customer and Yatu's Bakery. If the customer chooses to cancel their order, Yatu's Bakery original cancellation policy still stands.
Payment is needed to confirm orders and until payment is received your order cannot be guaranteed.
Deliveries are made by hand or by post on the date specified in your order. All deliveries are undertaken by Adiyatu of Yatu's Bakery. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address on the day of your order; if there is no-one on hand to receive the cakes I will do my very best to leave them in a safe place (with a neighbour or receptionist etc) If there is no safe space, re-delivery can be arranged within 24 hours but an extra delivery fee will be charged. If no contact by the customer is made within 24 hours your order will be disposed of. If the customer is collecting an order, it must be picked up at the agreed time, if the customer is running late YB must be notified in writing as soon as possible. Yatu's Bakery reserves the right to charge an additional late fee at £10 per hour that the customer is late to collect their order.
If you would like your order delivered to your place of work or somewhere with a mailroom/courier point I am happy to do so but please note that Yatu's Bakery cannot accept any liability for the treatment of your order or mishandling once a delivery has been made.
Yatu's Bakery will always advise on the correct handling of the cakes and this information will be passed on to all recipients either by email or in person but once the cakes are delivered YB cannot accept liability for the subsequent handling of your cakes.
If someone else will be receiving cakes from YBs on your behalf they must be briefed on what exactly has been ordered as all of YB cakes are approved on delivery as once cakes are on the way to delivery address YB can not be held liable for any damage that occurs in transit or any discrepancies from the order. Any issues should be handled directly with YB at the time of delivery whereby YB will always make the best efforts to alter any design discrepancies.
All YB cakes, brownies, blondies and postal orders are baked to order. YB does not accept returns. Refunds, credit notes or a replacement order to the same value will be given only in the event that you receive the incorrect product or if the products are shown to be of unsatisfactory quality. Should this be the case, or if you are in any way unsatisfied with the condition or quality of your cakes or bakes upon arrival you must contact firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of receipt. Yatu's Bakery will not accept liability for any complaints made after this time.
Yatu's Bakery reserves the right to use photographs of orders or customer feedback we prepare on its website, blog, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook pages. If you would like to specifically request that YB does not use pictures of your order or feedback, or that YB provide you with a picture of your order I will be happy to do so but please let me know at the time of ordering.
Prices for all products are subject to change without notice. Yatu's Bakery reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue any products on the website without notice at any time but please check your email or Instagram for updates. YB will not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
Yatu's Bakery Gift Cards are only available to purchase from yatusbakery.com Gift cards can be used to purchase anything in the Yatu's Bakery shop by entering the unique code sent to your email at the checkout. Your gift card can be used in combination with a PayPal/credit/debit card payment if the total cost of the order is greater than your gift card amount. The gift card code gives you a discount on a single purchase and can only be used once (even if the balance is less than the gift card value) Gift cards are valid for 5 years, you must download your digital card within 30 days. Gift cards can be used on yatusbakery.com only. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used to pay another gift card.
If you need to change the date or details of your order or cancel it altogether please contact me as far in advance as possible (at least 3 days before your delivery date). Cancellations made more than 3 days before delivery can be credited to another order which must be placed at the time of cancellation and must be rebooked on a date within 1 year of cancellation. Yatu's Bakery is unable to offer credit or postpone your order if YB is not notified more than 3 days prior to delivery.
All postal orders will be sent on Thursdays until further notice. Order by 11am for Friday delivery.
